Use and local planning

PILARTO / Site readiness
Before you choose the building,
understand the place.
A strong concept needs a workable site. The early review connects planning, ground conditions, utilities, logistics and the foundation strategy before major decisions are locked in.
Before production begins
The right early questions make later design, procurement and delivery decisions more informed.
Confirm the intended use, development limits, setbacks, height, access and relevant local approvals. Conditions differ between locations and project types.
A site survey and the appropriate geotechnical investigations inform levels, earthworks, drainage and the structural foundation design.
Consider road access, turning space, overhead restrictions, delivery staging and a suitable crane position. Large elements need a planned route onto the site.
Understand available electricity, water, wastewater and surface-water arrangements, together with the timing of connections and temporary site services.
The foundation is selected for the ground and the structure. Supporting levels, tolerances, moisture protection and wall-to-foundation details are coordinated before installation.
Climate, wind, exposure, energy requirements and other local conditions inform the envelope, specifications and the project approvals.

The location. The intended use.
The stage you have reached.
A plot reference, an outline of the proposal and any available survey, planning or design information help the team understand the starting point. We will identify what further information is needed.
Share a short summary through the enquiry form first. We can arrange the appropriate way to exchange project documents after we connect.
